THE MOON

“The Moon”: The Moon The Moon This post is a thoughtful exploration of Earth’s Moon, celebrating its timeless beauty, mystery, and influence on our world. Whether reflecting on its phases, its role in science and nature, or its emotional and cultural significance, the content invites readers to pause and admire the night sky. A peaceful and inspiring piece that connects us with something larger than ourselves. --------A Holddal kapcsolatban született felfedezés meglehetősen félelmetes A legújabb tanulmány egy teljesen új térképet készített a Hold kisebb tengeri gerinceiről (SMR). Ezek olyan finom, de jól felismerhető kiemelkedések a Hold „sötét síkságain”, amelyek akkor keletkeznek, amikor a Hold kérge a belső feszültség következtében meggörbül vagy összenyomódik.A kutatók több mint ezer, korábban ismeretlen SMR-szakaszt azonosítottak a Hold közeli oldalán, így a „sötét síkságokon” most összesen több mint 2600 ilyen gerincet ismerünk. -------- Ami különösen izgalmas: ezek a formák geológiailag fiatalok. Átlagosan mintegy 124 millió évesek – ami a Hold 4,5 milliárd éves történetében relatíve „frissnek” számít. Mozog, fejlődik, változik Hogy mitől jönnek létre ezek a gerincek? A Hold nem rendelkezik lemezes tektonikával (a Földre jellemző jelenség: bolygónk külső kérge több hatalmas „lemezre” tagolódik, amelyek mozognak, ütköznek, szétválnak egymástól), ezértnem „reng” úgy, mint a Föld. ------- Mégis, a belső hűlés miatt a kérge lassan összehúzódik.
